This is not written by me. It is written by Faiza Hussein. I feel in love with it and asked her if I could kindly repost it. If there’s anything that helps me find the best in people, it’s this. Even when 5 cars almost hit me off by bike, and that guy in the underground was in such a rush he knocked everyone over while he was running, I didn’t blame any of them…what a change from the London life…amazing.
It has been one hell of a ride for me these past few months. I have had my ups and downs in life just like everyone else. And I just learned to take it on the chin. Whatever life throws in my direction, good or bad, I try to look on the brighter side of things. I do my best to learn from my mistakes, if repeated again then I learn from it again. No matter how many times you repeat the same mistake, it is because you are an imperfect human. There is not such thing as ‘perfect’ and that is just the reality of this world.
I have stumbled a lot more that I have been able to get up. But I am still standing strong. I would say that everyone is the complete opposite of their perfect selves. @Everyone has their own imperfections and you just have to learn to accept it and embrace it.
There are things that people did in their lives that is completely unforgivable. And you can count me in on that. Because I have done my fair share of actions that I deeply regret but they were completely unforgivable. The people I affected with the choices I chose to make still forgave me after all that I put them through.
What I am trying to say, is that no matter what happens, no matter what you did, always seek forgiveness from those you angered and affected. Because you never know, they are just like you, imperfect but in different ways. They are no more above perfect than you are.
Life is too short to hold grudges. If you can only find it somewhere in your heart to forgive the person that affected you with their choices, then you are a good human with a good heart. you should always forgive because you yourself is not perfect. God did not create you to be perfect. God created you to live life and living life means learning along the way. And to learn, you have got to make some mistakes. Others life isn’t worth living.
I just hope that you all can learn something from this. Regardless of how angry and upset you are with the person who has hurt you so bad, I am asking you to see past their flaws and to just forgive.
God forgives those who forgives others.”
So amazing…Absolutely love it.
